Birds glued to sabi someday
I cannot seem to coordinate my sabi to Saturday or a (true) haibun to any particular week, but that doesn’t stop me. My brothers usurped all the artistic genes, but that doesn’t stop me either. I made this bird collage from old newspaper and leftover handmade paper.
I am working on another collage trying to encompass the “imperfect, impermanent, incomplete” aesthetic of wabi sabi. The only element I know for sure is that the newspaper is fading/yellowing, so the impermanence is ongoing.
