Simply 6 Minutes

There is a female cardinal who is always the first at the feeder before dawn, and last at the feeder at dusk. Her punctual “cheep cheep” bookends my day. She is out there right now, and is the inspiration for this post.

If birds did Halloween:

Cardinals could be cardinals of the Catholic kind. Or a football player.
Blue Jays could win the World Series.
Crows could be ravens. Ravens could be crows. Few would know.
(and there’s the football thing again)

Also, I have a bird feeder, every time it rains, clogs up, and then seed begins to mold.
Maybe it could dress up as a clean, free flowing feeder for once.
