Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt #351

a seismic tremor
helps predict an eruption
there is no comfort

the smell of sulfur
magma waiting to erupt
never comfort here

Kilauea erupts
Goddess Pele is angry
Comfort is a dream

Sulfur steam from one of the craters.
This was the lava flow from 2018 that buried a neighborhood.
