Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt #349

drop its soft purple petals
they turn to crisp bronze

One Monday moment
after the wren’s crisp scolding
a sparrow’s soft song

Internet is down
Is anybody out there?
A mockingbird gloats
It has become crisp and clear
I am soft and dependent
